Welding Components on Steel Wheels

Steel wheels have several welded components used for connection, fixation, and protection. These include:

1. Positioning block: Used on spokeless steel rims, welded near the inner diameter of the gutter ring.

2. Limiting groove: Used to fix the cross-shaped lock lug. One is welded to bead seat, and the other to the outside of the gutter ring.

3. Reinforcing ring: Welded to back section or side flange to increase the side flange's strength and prevent skidding.

4. Reinforcing rib: Welded to the spokes and rim base to strengthen the connection between the spokes and the rim base.

5. Valve protector: A U-shaped groove welded to the inner circle of the rim base to protect the valve stem.

6. Flange: Welded to the inner circle of the rim base to connect the detachable spokes.
