Classification of Cold Finished Stainless-Steel Bar

Classification by Manufacturing Process 

1). Cold-drawn stainless-steel bars: Drawn at room temperature, common sizes are 5.5~250 mm, suitable for precision parts.

2). Forged stainless steel bars: Formed through forging, resulting in higher strength.

Other Classifications

 

Classification by Surface Treatment 

1). Black Bars: Raw, untreated material.

2). Acid-White Bars: Acid-treated, resulting in a white surface.

3). Bright Bars: Cold-rolled, with a bright surface, requiring no further treatment.

4). Grinded Bars: Further polished for a smoother surface, such as 304 or 316 stainless steel.

 

By Shape: Round bars, square bars, flat bars, etc.
