According to the different alloying elements, it includes the following categories:

1. Carbon low alloy steel: The main alloying elements are chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, etc.

2. Low alloy structural steel: In addition to alloying elements such as chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium, it also contains trace amounts of copper, nickel, manganese, etc.

3. Low temperature low alloy steel: The main alloying elements are nickel, chromium, molybdenum, etc., with good low temperature toughness and welding performance. 

According to its morphology, it is classified mainly into hot rolling, cold rolling, steel plates, steel strips, steel sections, steel pipes, and other varieties.

Application of low alloy structural steel 

Low alloy structural steel has good machinability and plasticity, and is often used to manufacture various machinery, equipment, and components.

1. Ships. Commonly used in the construction of ship hulls, such as hulls, ship bridges, etc.

2. Bridges. Commonly used in the construction of bridges and pipelines, with good bearing capacity.

3. Machinery. Used to manufacture various machinery and equipment with high strength and toughness, such as excavators, mining machinery, etc.

4. Construction. Weather-resistant low-alloy structural steel is widely used in the construction field, especially in exterior wall decoration.
