Classification of Cold Drawn Steel Profile

According to the cross-sectional shape, it can be divided into simple section steel and complex section steel (special-shaped steel). 

Simple section steel includes square steel, round steel, flat steel, angle steel, hexagonal steel, etc; Complex section steel includes I-beams, channel steel, steel rails, window frame steel, curved steel, etc.

According to the production method, steel sections are divided into hot-rolled steel sections, cold-formed steel sections, cold drawn steel sections, extruded steel sections, and welded steel sections.

According to the different smelting quality of steel, section steel is divided into ordinary section steel and high-quality section steel. Ordinary section steel is divided into large section steel, medium section steel, and small section steel according to the current metal product catalog.
