1.#Surface Scratches & Scrapes:
For edge abrasions (e.g., curb rash), a CNC lathe is used to micro-machine and remove the compromised layer. This is followed by fine polishing and the application of a high-temperature baked-on finish to restore the OEM factory appearance.
2.#Impact Cracking:
For cracks along the wheel lip, a V-groove (bevel) is prepared prior to performing a full-penetration TIG weld. After stress relief, the wheel undergoes precision CNC machining to restore the bead seat profile, ensuring an airtight seal for proper tire assembly.
3.#Localized Material Loss:
The damaged area is abraded and prepared, then rebuilt using a high-strength alloy filler. Once cured, the surface is CNC profile-machined to restore the original contour accuracy and a smooth finish.
4.Bending & Deformation:
If non-destructive testing (NDT) confirms no cracking, the wheel is heated to a specified temperature and straightened using a hydraulic press. If the deformation exceeds acceptable tolerances or internal structural damage is detected, replacement is mandatory.
